Hanna & Mattias Lundmark

Mattias and Hanna Lundmark have been dancing together since 2003. They have been seen in different shows and on television worldwide. They have both been members of The Rhythm Hot Shots, which later became Harlem Hot Shots. They share a great passion for teaching and are internationally recognized as performers and teachers. They are known for their high energy, knowledge and great spirit.

The DecaVitas (Charlie & Rebecka)

Charlie and Rebecka, a.k.a. The DecaVitas, or the DecaVita Sisters, are world-renowned dancers specializing in authentic Swing and Jazz Age dances. They have been teaching and performing together since 2006, competing since 2008 and are today among the top names in the international Swing Dance scene.

Charlie and Rebecka hail from Stockholm, Sweden, but they spend a lot of time on the road and have worked on six continents in more than 25 countries. Together they are known for their dynamic, creative and unique dance style. As two of the most liked and yearned for Lindy Hop instructors worldwide, Charlie and Rebecka strive to teach excellent techniques in a positive, coherent, and productive way. They particularly value the art of leading and following, believing that leaders and followers require equal amounts of classroom information to create the best possible connection on the dance floor.

LinaMaria Bengtsson & Mattias Bruzelius

LinaMaria Bengtsson and Mattias Bruzelius have been teaching together since 2018, giving weekly classes in Malmö and Lund for HepTown, and in Helsingborg through Cats Corner. In addition, they teach summer courses at Fridhems Folkhögskola and perform with different show groups. They also do weekend workshops in Lindy Hop and Lindy Hop Aerials.

When Mattias och LinaMaria teaches, they focus on leading/following techniques and dancing fun. Their priority is dynamics (softness, movement, energy) over routines, rules and patterns, and they believe that the lead and follow are equally responsible in the dance.

While Mattias fell in love with the lindy hop in 2010 and spends most of his spare time dancing and practising acrobatics; LinaMaria is a performing artist and jazz singer who started dancing lindy hop in 2014 because of her love of swing music. (And we will all be able to hear her sing at Malmö Spring Jump this year with her band The Swing Street Orchestra.)

Nanna Carling Swing Band [SE]

Saturday Night Party

Nanna carling leads her band with high energy and the saxophone in hand. They play hot jazz and blue blues that will take you back in time. With music rooted in the likes of Duke Ellington, Fats Waller and Sidney Bechet’s repertoire, they make sure to spread joy wherever they play.

At a young age, they have already performed around the world at places like Birdland (NYC), The Rock that Swing festival, Tel Abib Opera House, Seoul Lindy Fest and the Bangkok Big Bang festival, and now they are back home in Malmö!

Triangelkvartetten [SE]

Sunday Tea Dance

This local swingband was formed by the four original members, at a jam session on the Triangle square in Malmö – hence the name Triangelkvartetten (the Triangle quartet). Since then, more members have been added to the group, and so this might possibly be the largest quartet in the world (or in Malmö at least)!
